Rosie and Matt: On The Way To Forever

Rosalea and Matthew weren't exactly looking for love when a mutual friend introduced them. In fact, there were several miracles involved in their fairytale. With so many people contributing to their love story, they often remind each other how lucky they are. The first string of luck was when Rosie accidentally gave Matt the wrong number. Matt was just visiting the city for business so the chance to meet almost slipped through their fingers, literally.

With a quick redirect, they finally had their first meet up at a downtown Charleston coffee shop, Kudo. The second string of coincidence was the cancelation of Matt's flight back home. This became a memorable evening as Rosie and Matt strolled down the charming waterfront of Downtown Charleston giving Matt a grand tour of the darling city. This romantic stroll was exceptionally influential to Matt and Rosie's relationship. So much that they walked the same exact stroll two and a half years later but this time- it was into a proposal.

Because the true essence of Charleston played such a role in their relationship, it was only right that their storybook wedding packed the same punch. March in Charleston provided a gentle breeze upon the ceremony and reception on Runnymede Plantation. The charming, private property in St. Andrews Parrish hosted family and friends as they gazed on with joy and admiration. Rosie looked stunning as her parents walked her down the aisle with honor and pride. Cousin in law, Erika Hubbs shared gentle reminders of their growing love for each other as the officiant. The couple wrote their own generous vows. With a gorgeous ceremony near the Ashley River, #MattGetsTheRosie acquired all the outdoor beauty of the Lowcountry. The tasteful bouquets and delicate pops of color complemented the natural beauty of the plantation.

Cocktail hour under the enormous Spanish moss-covered trees and a tented reception kept the vibes going. The reception was a joy capturing the emotional toast and humorous stories that showed a testament to their love. Matt and Rosie's energetic first dance expressed their personalities and partnership. With a full band crooning 'Signed. Sealed. Delivered' by Stevie Wonder, the dance floor was full of smiles and slick dance moves. It's a forever thing.

With a love as bold as Rosie's red lips, the footage of their wedding encaptures all of the love, laughter, and commitment. Their wedding day Highlight Film seamlessly travels through their entire day starting with each of them getting ready with their bridal squads. There's a priceless clip of the gentlemen being guided by a tie tying tutorial. March 30th was a phenomenal day. One of the most heartwarming scenes is the first look between Rosie and Matthew. Amongst the backdrop of the rich, Charleston landscape Rosie and Matt are one good looking couple. We were able to add Charleston sights that were important to them. If you look closely, you will notice the first shot of a cozy blue home with picture-perfect baskets. That is the exact spot Matt proposed to Rosie.
