Kalyn and I have an extremely deep and unique family story of origin. Our family is our major “WHY” to what we do here at Front Row Films Co. Building our family turned out to be the foundation for building our business.
Kalyn and I got married in 2012. Like most newlyweds, we never expected to have fertility issues. For three years, we naturally tried to begin building our family. Without any success, we decided to seek help and went to go see PREG, Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group. PREG is a private infertility clinic in Upstate SC. With PREG in our corner, we dove in with a strong commitment completing 3 IUIs (Intrauterine Insemination) that unfortunately failed. The emotional impact of failed attempts is overwhelming. After three failed IUIs, we decided to take a break from trying to conceive.
We shifted our eyes to foster care allowing us to open our hearts to three beautiful little children. As you know, foster care is not permanent. It involves nervous yet cheerful Hellos and dispiriting farewells. There’s a deep-rooted joy in falling in love with our sweet foster children but it hurt immensely when there were sudden departures. Seeing the children come and go was incredibly difficult.
The consistent pull of our heartstrings brought back the desire for permanent love. It motivated us to resume our journey of creating a new life of our own. Intending to create our little bundle of joy, we began raising funds to support our IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatment. Hitting our goal - we began our first treatment.
After years of roller-coaster emotions, Kalyn and I were successful with our first try!!!!!! Finally, we could put our hands up and enjoy the ride to the arrival of our sweet bundle of joy, Magnolia Snow! Below is a glimpse into the surprise of our life!
This is only the beginning of our story. We have much more to share! The depth of our back story inspires us to build bigger every day.
