We love all our couples, but Bailey and Brantly inspire us. Their Ivy Place wedding day was nothing short of pure magic. Brantley popped the question to Bailey at a horse farm Bailey managed in Huntersville, NC. They had planned a day with friends to spend time with the horses. Towards the end of their visit, they were all taking photos, and Brantley got down on one knee. Little did Bailey know, their friends were in on the proposal and took video of the whole thing!
The Ivy Place was the perfect location for Bailey and Brantley to tie the knot. This venue is a picturesque Rock Hill, NC area wedding venue. It is also a family-owned berry farm which we think is so special! These two fell in love with the city of Lancaster (where The Ivy Place is located) because it was convenient enough for both of their families to attend but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Being from Charlotte, NC, they did not have far to travel to get to their gorgeous venue. If you are looking for a wedding venue in this same area, we would highly recommend The Ivy Place. Rock Hill is the closest neighboring city with lots of great options for lodging and food. Just to name a few, TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charlotte Fort Mill and Tru by Hilton Rock Hill are both great hotel options. Either are about a 15 minute drive from The Ivy Place.
Looking for something fun to do while you are in Rock Hill, SC? Nature lovers will get a thrill out of a visit to the Glencairn Gardens. You may also want to check out the Museum of York County or Ebenezer Park. For those a little more adventurous, take the drive into the "big city" Charlotte, NC which is only 40 minutes. This city is amazing and boast a wide range of activities and sights for out of towners and locals alike!
Restaurants near The Ivy Place are definitely not to be missed either! Take some time at one of the southern staple spots just down the road. The top-rated restaurants are The Roasting Company and The Flipside Restaurant. If it were up to us, we'd order the Carolina Pork Bowl. Yum
